My new eBay goals

1) I will list 20 new items EVERYDAY.

Selling on eBay is a numbers game. The more you list, the more you are going to sell.  The more you sell, the higher eBay moves you up in the rankings. Which means your items will be seen by more people.

The 20 items I am going to list each day will be prepared the night before. Taking photos is boring and my eyes get tired. So it is better if I do it first thing in the morning.

I will list the 20 items by category to speed on the process. Meaning if I am listing books it will 20 books that day.  Mens shirts will be 20 mens shirt that day, and so on.

2) I will clean my eBay room every night.

It is much easier to list and be productive in a neat, clean, organized room than working in chaos.

3) I will have the mailman or women pick up my orders everyday.

This is a service that the USPS offers free, when you ship anything Priority mail. I have never used this service. But at the new location this will save time in my day and make eBay a little easier.

4) I will pick a mandatory day to source.

Sourcing is fun, it’s like a reward for doing good. In the past I have always felt guilty about going out and sourcing, because there is alway something at home I should be doing. Yet sourcing is part of my job, so I will now give it a whole day to get it done.

Plus with I will need a 140 items every week to hit my 20 items per day.

Sourcing Day will also include sorting all the item brought that day into category. That will help with keeping the eBay room organized and also with listing the 20 items everyday. NO DEATH PILES

5) I will source higher value items.

They are harder to find, but just as easy to list. Plus once you really start looking for them it will become easier to know what you are looking for.

6) I will put out the money for better equipment.

I have no one to blame but myself if I don’t make the money I need to live. I hope by following these guild lines I can have balance in my life.

It’s Monday today, and boy do I love Mondays. We start getting ready for the flea market on Fridays than we are there all day Saturday and Sunday. So Monday is my day to do the things I need to do for me… That is after I get the Lover out of bed and off to work. (which is harder than it’s sounds)

So at this point in my life I am selling on eBay to make money. Today I have 8 package to pack and ship. That will pretter much take up my morning. I will than do all my relistings which just means relisting everything that has been up for 30 days and didn’t sell.  After that I will list today only about 5 items because it’s MONDAY.

I have a lot of friends who need to make more money than they make at their 9 to 5 jobs. They are always looking for part time work and I tell them go though your closet to make more money. If you don’t want to sell it on eBay than take it to the local flea market. I would say 98% of them just don’t get it..

Selling on eBay is easy and there is almost nothing that won’t sell… The trick is to remember that eBay is a numbers game. The more you list the more you will sell, plus you want to list everyday.  So I try to shoot for 10 listings a day which is very doable if I am not having a lazy day. I list Monday though Friday can’t on Saturday and Sunday because of the flea market.

Everyone worries about what to sell, here’s a hint list what you have first. Than ask your friend and family for their stuff, and list that. (here is a thought if you liked it once, so did someone else, so it will sell)

This is the end of my Monday morning ramble. I hope you enjoyed it but I need to get started so I can get done.  I would like to make this an everyday thing so I can improve my writing skills while exercising my brain

Please leave me a comment and let me know about your Monday.....

So you need to make more money.

So you need to make more money.                                                                                                            You could go out and get a 2nd job working for someone else or you could start your own business.

Becoming a flea marking vendor is as easy as 1 – 2 – 3.

    1. Find your local flea market and see what it takes to set up.
    2. Go into everyroom of your home with a box and put in everything you no longer want.
    3. Go to the flea market set up, and sell it!

I am not kidding about that being as easy as it is. That's how I got started about 5 years ago.

First finding your local flea market to get the details on setting up. Just go to Google and look it up 95% of the time all the information you need is there.

  • Try to find an established flea market close to home that is set up to operate every weekend
  • of a season. Established flea markets with good schedules will attract both vendors and shoppers. (more vendors = more shopper's so more shopper's = more money)

  • If it is a Saturday, Sunday flea market then you want to be there both days. If you can't be there both day's try to be there on Sunday!!!!! 95% of the time Sunday is the better money day!!!!!

  • If you are doing this only once or twice a season you will be best to pick week end's that are also the beginning of a month. People seem to have and spend more money the first 2 weekends of the month than they do the last 2 weekends.

Go into everyroom of your house with a box.

Just about EVERYTHING sells at a flea market. Dishes, clothing, TOYS, TOOLS, books, pots and pans, electronics, and Furnitures.

  • If you don't think you have enough ask your friends and family, for their unwanted items.

  • Go to the flea market set up, and sell it!

Set up, what that means is to set up the things on your table, don't just dump them on the table.

  • You want to make sure everything is clean and priced.

  • You will want to bring a table cloth and a dust rag.

  • You will want to make sure you bring money to make change with.

Well this is my easy 1 – 2 – 3 of starting out at the flea market. I will write more flea market common sense later. Please let me know if you liked this post, found it helpful. Thank you Lori Renee

chocolate peanut butter oatmeal cookies

It's cold today here in New Hampshire, so I decided to make some cookies.

These are Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal cookies that my mom and sister used to make all the time while I was growing up.

You will need

2 cups Sugar
1 stick of butter
3 TBS cocoa cocoa
1/2 cup of milk

1tsp Vanilla
1/2 cup Peanut Butter
3 cups Quick oats

In a 4-quart sauce pan add the first 4 ingredients (Sugar, Butter, Cocoa, and Milk).

Bring to a boil for 1 minutes.

Remove from heat and add last 3 ingredients (Vanilla, Peanut Butter, and Oats)

Mix all together and spoon on to wax paper.

This is a great treat and easy to make, ENJOY

7 steps

How do you stop making yourself miserable, and start living your dreams. I've been giving this one a lot of thought lately.

  1. Walk- this is so easy and so important, yet we don't do it. Our bodies need physical exercise and walking is the easiest way to get it. Plus you are outside and you see people.
  2. Sleep – is very important to good health. I can not function without 8 hours of sleep.
  3. Friends – We need people. You should have a group of friends 5 or more. You don't need to see these people everyday, but with 5 or more you have a better chance of seeing at least one of them once a week.
  4. Give Thanks- when you appreciate what you have you are less likely to be jealous of others.
  5. Get involved- joining a group or going to church something that you have to do at least once a week. (But please make sure it is something you enjoy)
  6. Limit what you watch- TV is not real nobody wants to keep up with the Kardashian's
  7. And remember things don't make you happy, living YOUR dream makes you happy
